About Us

Milton Ulladulla Dog Training Club Inc offers members the opportunity to socialise and train their dogs to become great companion animals. The Club's training is based on positive reinforcement (motivational) training methods. This training uses rewards such as food, toys and praise to encourage the dog to repeat desired behaviours, rather than forceful (negative) methods. The Club promotes responsible dog ownership and is led by a volunteer team of committee members and instructors who enjoy giving their time and knowledge to help members train their dog. We offer training in obedience, agility and fun events such as fly ball, and flag races. All dogs are welcome, large, small, mixed breed, pure bred, and they all have a great time of Sunday mornings at training classes. Any member who has a desire to compete and Trial with their dog in Obedience will be given all possible assistance by Club Instructors, although Obedience competition trialling is not a main focus of the Club. We hold training classes at the rear of Milton Showground,107 Croobyar Road, Milton on Sunday mornings from February to November each year. Puppies aged 16 weeks or under can join our Baby Puppy Training Class on any Sunday. Dogs over 16 weeks of age can ONLY join on the first Sunday of the month, when our 8 week Quick Start course commences. On completion of the course handlers and their dogs join Class 1.

New members please arrive by 8.30am on your first day to complete the necessary paperwork and then be ready to start class at 9am. Please note we do not have EFTPOS facilities. Classes run for 1 hour. You must bring your dog's vaccination record with you. Handlers must wear closed in footwear such as trainers. Click here to view the Club Rules.
