About Us

Milton Ulladulla Dog Training Club Inc offers members the opportunity to socialise and train their dogs to become great companion animals. The Club's training is based on positive reinforcement (motivational) training methods. This training uses rewards such as food, toys and praise to encourage the dog to repeat desired behaviours, rather than forceful (negative) methods. The Club promotes responsible dog ownership and is led by a volunteer team of committee members and instructors who enjoy giving their time and knowledge to help members train their dog. We offer training in obedience, including Rally O and agility.  All dogs are welcome, large, small, mixed breed, pure bred, and they all have a great time of Sunday mornings at training classes. Any member who has a desire to compete and Trial with their dog in Obedience will be given all possible assistance by Club Instructors, although Obedience competition trialling is not a main focus of the Club. We hold training classes at the rear of Milton Showground,107 Croobyar Road, Milton on Sunday mornings from February to November each year. Puppies aged 16 weeks or under can join our Baby Puppy Training Class on any Sunday. Dogs over 16 weeks of age attend our 4 week Quick Start course which commences of the 1st Sunday of each month.  Members continue their training in Classes 1, 2 and 3 following graduation at our regular assessment days.  Click here to view the Club Rules.
